Chemical Processing

Cajun has served the petrochemical and chemical industry since 1973, earning a reputation for excellence and safe execution. Our client base is diverse, ranging from small chemical companies to the world’s leading manufacturers and includes such facilities as specialty and commodity chemicals, air gas separation, agriculture and carbon black. Within those facilities, we have constructed various types of units such as chlorine, caustic, poly olefins, Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), ammonia and plastics units.

Cajun provides everything from specialty discipline services to turnkey construction including self-perform services such as demolition, site work, piping erection and fabrication, design-build, deep foundations, concrete foundations, equipment setting and dock loading terminals. Our experience includes world-scale ethylene crackers with multiple smaller capital projects and grassroots construction along with retrofit of existing facilities. We are also adept at the construction of terminal/storage facilities, distillation units, separation units and waterfront receiving/distribution structures.

Chemical industry projects commonly involve complex systems and call for tremendous resources. Cajun has the processes and procedures to handle these projects and understands the logistics of organizing equipment, manpower and materials balanced with the critical need for safety in the chemical plant environment.
