Dow Chemical Peroxide Warehouse

PLAQUEMINE, LA
PLAQUEMINE, LA

The project consisted of construction of a 4,050 SF peroxide warehouse within the Poly D site. Because the peroxide material is explosive, the unique warehouse was designed to be blast resistant. Cajun Industries, LLC served as the general contractor for the project and self-performed a large amount of activities such as grouting, precast anchoring, insulated metal wall panel installation, overhead doors installation and sliding door installation. Cajun also self-performed the concrete construction of the slab on grade.

Accomplishments

Avoiding any site conflicts or obstructions by maintaining contact and building relationships with the owner, as well as the contractor.
