SOUTH MARSH ISLAND 217 “A”

Cajun was initially contracted to complete the throughput capacity increase of SMI217 from 70 MMcf per day to 300 MMcf per day on a time and material basis, with a construction budget of $3.5 million and an expected duration of three months. However, as a result of our expedient delivery, stellar safety performance and quality of construction, Chevron GOM chose Cajun as the contractor to move forward with further expansion during the favorable weather months, which increased production capacity from 300 MMcf per day to 500 MMcf per day.
