Emergency Preparedness & Disaster Response
Cajun has first-hand knowledge of the significant impact that natural disasters can have on a community and the value of effective emergency preparedness and disaster response. We are both Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliant and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) ready and our primary capabilities are divided into three categories – management services, construction and repair, and support activities.
Years of construction and logistics experience guide our management services, which include project management, material control, depot management, fleet supervision, transportation management, and facility and site management.
We also provide construction and repair of levees and floodwalls, temporary flood protection, pump stations, water and wastewater facilities, marine infrastructure, below and above- ground utility infrastructure, overhead transmission and substations.
Cajun’s self-perform support services include equipment maintenance and servicing, temporary housing and transportation of heavy equipment and materials. We can also provide a wide range of additional services through our network of vendors and subcontractors such as food services, dredging and material stockpiling.
