Cajun has the management, craftsmen, specialized equipment and technical expertise to construct and maintain a variety of transmission configurations. We have safely built miles of transmission line, structures and foundations in some of the nation’s most challenging environments, from piney woods to limited access areas like the marsh lands of South Louisiana reached only by marsh buggy, barge or helicopter. Our transmission projects span virtually every size, locale and topography. Substation Construction & Maintenance
The Cajun project management group is experienced in all aspects of substation construction and maintenance. Cajun’s skilled craftsmen are capable of building a new substation from virgin soil, consisting of all site work, foundation support, concrete installation, grounding, conduit along with structural steel and equipment setting. Our team members have the necessary expertise to assemble, install and maintain all substation equipment, including power transformers, circuit breakers, protective relay systems, capacitors and load tap changers. Special safety training allows us to perform the same services in energized facilities.
